WHAT: March and rally to Save Honda Swindon

WHERE: March starts at Swindon Town FC coach park SN1 2ED concluding with a rally at GWR Park, Faringdon Road, Swindon, SN1 5DJ

Honda workers, their supporters and the people of Swindon will be coming together this Saturday (30 March) in a show of unity to march and rally to Save Honda Swindon.

Marchers are set to gather from 11:00 at Swindon Town FC’s coach park for the Unite the union organised march, where they will hear from Unite general secretary Len McCluskey.

The march, headed by two Honda Civics, Honda workers and a marching brass band, are then due to set off at 11:30 to march through Swindon to a rally at GWR Park, Faringdon Road.

At the rally in the GWR park, those gathering in support of the Honda workers will hear from Honda workers and their supporters including Swindon's mayor cllr Junab Ali, Labour’s shadow business secretary Rebecca Long-Bailey and Unite assistant general secretary Steve Turner.

There will also be a special performance by Swindon's own Josh Kumra, singer and songwriter of number one hit single 'Don't go'.
