Unite Wales statement regarding tomorrow's Ford Bridgend plant meetings
- Thursday 13 June 2019
Peter Hughes, Unite Wales Regional Secretary said: “The past week has been an extremely difficult time for the Ford Bridgend workforce. They have had to digest the news that their world class plant is facing closure, whilst also having to consider the companies proposed redundancy terms.
"Tomorrow will be an opportunity for us to listen to our members. Unite’s response to Ford’s devastating announcement will be driven by the views that our members express to us. There are a number of avenues that we may pursue and at this time nothing has been ruled out.”
