The leader of the country's biggest trade union, Unite has today (Monday 5 February) warned that continuing Tory uncertainty on Brexit is delaying investment and risking jobs.

Unite general secretary Len McCluskey was responding to the government's statement, issued last night (Sunday 4 February) in which it rules out any form of customs union with the EU following Brexit.

Commenting Len McCluskey said: "This continued confusion is causing damaging uncertainty among the major manufacturers that I am meeting.

"Investment decisions vital for our future are being delayed, threatening jobs."
