Stop homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in the Commonwealth now!
- Monday 21 January 2019
Stop homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in the Commonwealth campaign has been produced by Unite National LGBT Committee.
This campaign is in opposition to criminalising LGBT+ people in 37 out of the 53 Commonwealth countries with some having the death penalty clause.
LGBT+ people across the Commonwealth regularly suffer from hate crimes and violence and their attackers frequently go unpunished despite adopting the Commonwealth Charter.
Send the message below to urge Lady Scotland, the Commonwealth Secretary-General to take action and encourage Commonwealth members to end this discrimination.
You can print off the postcard which can be signed and sent to Lady Scotland.
Alternatively, send an email message to Lady Scotland - the message is pre-populated but feel free to add a more personal message.
