The Unite/CPHVA and its Website – Notes for ‘Visitors’
The Community Practitioners’ and Health Visitors’ Association
(Unite/CPHVA) is the professional body that represents health
visitors, school nurses, district nurses and practice nurses on
professional and labour relations’ matters.
The website
http://www.unite-cphva.org/ is
primarily for the benefit of our members. As a membership
organisation, we don’t deal directly with members of the general
public.
Our limited resources are solely channelled into providing advice
and support to our members.
Membership number should be included when emailing the CPHVA’s
staff with a professional query.
Media inquiries should be directed to the CPHVA’s Communications
Officer, Shaun Noble email:

The Unite/CPHVA has a strong Ethical Policy governing our
relationships with external organisations, companies and
professional bodies.
We do take measures to see that any website linked to ours conforms
to that policy, however the Unite/CPHVA takes no responsibility for
the accuracy, advice and information that these linked sites might
give.
Unite/CPHVA may make improvements and/or changes as appropriate in
the materials contained in or described on this site at any time
without notice.
Our advice to the members of the public viewing the internet, who
have concerns about any health issue they read about, is that they
should first consult their GP or health professional as every
individual’s health requirements are different.
