Su Davis is married with 2 children and has a
health service career spanning 26 years.
Su initially worked in adult oncology and
recovery nursing before moving to Coventry to qualify as an
operating theatre nurse. It was here that the spark of interest in
technology began when the course cohort created an educational
video for student nurses on their theatre rotation instead of the
usual “paper” end of course project.
After qualifying as a Health Visitor in 1995
Su worked in Hull and was instrumental in developing a Health
Visiting service to children and their families living in a
residential parenting assessment unit.
Currently she is the Children and Young
Peoples Clinical Lead for SystmOne in East Yorkshire. She has
facilitated the implementation of the system across Health
Visiting, School Nursing and Special School Nursing and continues
to work with both practitioners and the project team to maximise
the benefits of electronic ways of working.
