Maria Skudlarz
After completing my general training in the
Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service I worked in America
for a year nursing patients who had undergone cardiac
surgery. I completed my Health Visitor Training in Oxford in
1982 and went to work in Basingstoke. It was then I joined
what is now the CPHVA and have been an active member ever since.
Since moving to Wales in 1987 I became an LAR and have been Chair
of Clwyd Local Professional Forum and a member of the Welsh
Regional Forum. I am currently working as a specialist Health
Visitor for Parenting and Behaviour.
