Professional Liability Insurance for
Health Sector Members
The Unite Professional liability Insurance scheme provides
up to £3 million cover for any claim made against you by a patient,
colleague or member of the public.
The following members are covered by PLI as part of their Unite
membership:-
- Members of Unite/CPHVA
- All registered nurses
- Members of Unite/MHNA
- Members of Unite/SSHA
- Members of Unite/CHCC
- Counsellors, Psychotherapists & Arts'
Therapists
- Perioperative Practitioners (including Theatre Nurses,
ODAs & ODPs)
Other Health Sector Unite members (who are not on the list above) are entitled
to join the Unite Professional liability Insurance scheme.
The cost is £15 per annum -
