Working in Partnership
Unite together with other HE unions and
UCEA have been developing a Partnership Working Project supported
by HEFCE and ACAS.
Mike Robinson National Officer, said "the
project in the main does assist in bringing about co-operative
working with HR management. I feel it has assisted in areas when
conflict in negotiations has been the norm. It is not a
panacea but it can help if HR managements are prepared to try. I
recommend that you ask your institution to take part and that they
contact UCEA to be put on the list of HEI's willing to
participate. Please do everything you can to assist this
project and if any institution refuses or is reluctant to
participate please let my office know."
