Quality of Working Life
Much of our lives are spent at work and
the experience that we have there affects our working
relationships, general well being and health.
There are many factors that affect your quality of work
life. For example the quality of
your management, your relationship with colleagues, stress
and workload and your ability to shape your own
work.
For this reason Unite is working to improve the quality of
working life for its members.
Quality of Working Life in Higher Education
Survey
The Applied Psychology Unit (APU) of the
University of Portsmouth is attempting to establish a national
benchmark for Quality of Working Life (QoWL) across the higher
education sector by asking staff to complete an on-line survey.
Unite supported this useful contribution to improving the
quality of working life for members in the Higher Education
sector.
