The Plumbing Certification Scheme
Government and industry have emphasised
the need for industry-wide certification schemes to confirm the
levels of competence of properly skilled craftspeople, and
eliminate unsafe working practices.
The Plumbing Registration Card Scheme card scheme is
affiliated to the CSCS (Construction Skills Certification
Scheme).
The scheme is administered by the plumbing
industry joint industry boards, which are the joint
bodies that represent the industrial partnership between
Amicus and the plumbing employers associations.
Plumbers, gas service engineers, mechanical
pipe fitters and related disciplines can get apply for a card by
contacting the relevant body.
