JTL - the leading training provider to the building services
engineering sector
JTL delivers the
majority of apprenticeships in this sector and are proud that 7 out
of 10 young people who commence a JTL apprenticeship will complete
it successfully. Its partnerships with employers, colleges and
industry figures ensure that standards continue to rise.
A history of
innovation
JTL was formed in 1990 by the Electrical Contractors’ Association
and Amicus to deliver training in the electrical sector. Gaining
charitable status in 2000, it grew significantly, expanding
into plumbing and related areas, and more than doubling its intake
of apprentices, supporting over 9,000 in 2005.
At the heart of its growth has been
the ability to deliver national standards at a local level through
the commitment and expertise of our 185 Training Officers across
the country.
JTL is proud to be able to state that
all funding received is reinvested into improving training
provision and supporting employers. It has a commitment to
promoting equal opportunities.
It was awarded Beacon status for the
quality of its training provision and continue to work to improve
that quality year on year.
