www.IVotedForYouBecause.com
www.IVotedForYouBecause.com is a place where you can tell the
world why you voted the way you did.
Elections measure the votes cast, but not
/why/ they were cast. The 2005 General Election is the beginning of
a democratic process by which your MP represents you in
Parliament.
This website lets you tell them which
policies from their mainifestos (and which ones you didn't). In
short, what your priorities are for them in Parliament. All
comments will be emailed to your new MP (optional)

Department for Work and
Pensions
Financial Assistance Scheme team is
being designed to offer significant help to those people who have
lost on their pension when their final salary occupational pension
scheme wound up underfunded. In the future, compensation will
be provided through the Pension Protection Fund. The scheme is
currently in development, in consultation with interested groups
including trade unions, scheme members and the pensions
industry. The department has created a page on the
DWP web site that offers an opportunity for interested people to
sign up for updates on the development of the Financial Assistance
Scheme as and when information becomes available, as well as links
to various other documents from the development of the scheme. To
