Unite welcomes sale of Kemfine

Unite union has welcomed the sale of Kemfine to Munich-based
industrial holding AURELIUS AG.
KemFine UK Limited is based in Grangemouth, Scotland and
produces chemicals for agrochemical and pharmaceutical
industries.
Unite's regional officer, Pat Rafferty said: "We certainly
welcome the sale - this will secure the 200 jobs on the site and
take the company out of the ownership of the venture capitalist 3i
Group. We look forward to constructive relations with the new
owners."
