Young voices, make them heard - a special debate for
young people
16 May 2009, 2.30-4pm
The Repertory Theatre (The Rep), Centenary
Square, Birmingham
UNITE WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOUNG
PEOPLE ABOUT THE CHANGES WE NEED.
The lack of jobs is particularly hard for young people as they
leave education and seek to move into work. There are already over
one million young people under the age of 25 out of work. Unite
invites young people to come along for a special debate after the
Unite for Jobs March. Let MPs and Unite leaders hear your
views.
This is a time to listen to young
people and work out with them how to build a better future. This
debate is for young people to express their views – it is not a
talking shop where young people will be expected to sit and
listen.
If you are under 25 please come along
and make your voice heard.
This event is supported by the British
Youth Council and the UKYouth Parliament.
Don’t be late, there are limited seats
available.
PLEASE COME ALONG AND MAKE YOUR VIEWS
HEARD.
