Haiti earthquake
The terrible news of death and destruction in
Haiti has touched us all. There is now a dire need for food,
clothes, shelter and essential medicines. The TUC and its
affiliated unions have organised the Concert for Haiti on Wednesday
3rd February at Congress House. The concert is part of the wider
appeal to raise awareness about the situation in Haiti and funds
for the relief effort through the TUC Aid - Haiti Earthquake
Appeal.
Concert for Haiti:
Music, poetry and words with Billy Bragg and also featuring a Cuban
salsa dance spectacular Son Mas and Omar Puente, plus music from
the Afro-Caribbean diaspora plus poet Jean Binta Breeze and
contributions from Haitians in UK. Also very special guests to be
