assistance to any union member who wants to bring a personal injury
claim against an employer or third party.
This assistance covers:
- accidents at work
- occupational diseases
- occupational deafness
- road traffic or street accidents
You and your immediate family are covered for
any accidents you may have on the road or pavement, either as a
driver, passenger, cyclist or pedestrian.
The union's solicitors recover more than £45
million in compensation each year. Claims are conducted free of
charge and at no financial risk to you, subject to the conditions
of the union's Legal Aid. If your claim succeeds, you will receive
the full amount of damages without any deductions.
