Health,  work and well-being - case studies needed:  the Unite effect

Calling all Unite safety reps!

The TUC is producing a guide to promote health,  work and well-being next year and wants to include examples of what unions have been doing.

The guide will attempt to provide a balance between the positive work that can be done and the role of unions and workers, and the attempt by some employers to use “well-being” as a substitute for prevention, or as a way of avoiding involving union health and safety representatives, so the TUC  would welcome examples of where this has happened as well.

Please share your news of what you have achieved or are doing  to improve the quality of life at work for our members: for example good agreements, good policies, any action taken which has shown results for our members.  Any information, as brief or as long as you like is welcomed.

If you have any information you would like to share then contact Unite health and safety healthandsafety@unitetheunion.org
